Add to that, starting last year 3% has been taken out of my pay for retiree health benefits so I earned less, and this deal means the same. The 3% raise is cancelled out by the 3% taken out. This goes back all the way to Gov. Rowland. They used our give-backs to hire more people after threats of lay offs if we did not comply to their demands.
