Governor Rell seems to be all about protecting the wealthy in our state. Income inequality is HUGE and growing here. The middle class is slowly dissolving. At this rate, only the wealthier segment of the population will be able to pursue a decent standard of living here in CT. The extremes of rich and poor are a growing theme. There are such extremes of wealth here in CT. I personally have no problem with asking the wealthy to pay a greater percentage in taxes. I realize that many have worked very hard for their money. However no one needs three or four homes and given the present circumstances, our wealthy can afford to step up and contribute more to help the economy as a whole. We will not thrive as a state or as a nation with leaders like Jodi Rell in office.
The end.
